I wouldn't hold my breath on anything Media Blasters says they're going to release. Still waiting for My Wife is the Student Council President...

^ And Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei...... Their license on that likely expired by now though.
I actually never got around to watching this OVA since at the time I couldn't get over the cast change from Hayami Shou and Seki Toshihiko. |

Not the '92 version?....maybe pass. The remake is VERY different from the original. It should be noted in the book version, Blondies are sterile, so the statement by Mimea...no. I guess I'll keep my Italian import. Italian subtitles...ah well.
Also, would love some Zetsubou. And Tatami...maybe next year will be the year. |

OMG! I never saw this coming. I already bought the subbed version, but I will gladly rebuy the dubbed version. Yaoi is almost never dubbed. I'm really surprised to see such an old but classic title getting the treatment.

Even if not, they confirmed a few years back that they wouldn’t be releasing it. I believe it had to do with the fallout from New York effectively saying their company had been (temporarily) dissolved. Edit: It was back in 2013. animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-03-08/media-blasters-no-longer-has-rights-to-bakuman-kenshin-berserk |

Don't forget about Yamibo... How many times have they delayed it so far? |

The remake wasn't even completed, why do I need a dub of an incomplete story? I'd rather they dub the old OVA.

Oh wow I totally missed the BD was this close. I just knew the Kite Unct BD was coming out next month. The DVD-R of Yamibo was garbage. I have the DVD of Ai no Kusbai Media Blasters put out too since it was one of their last pressed disc releases. I'll upgrade for the dub. It is too bad the 90's OAV was never licensed in English. The 2012 OAV is... I don't really know how to put it. |

They can dub the anime but can't make the other 8 episodes that that were supposed to be made? I don't know why but I find that hilarious.

Dubbing a series costs muuuuuuuuch less than creating anime, and we're talking about an American dubbing company and Japanese animating companies. They're not comparable at all. |
