Wow, I didn't realize these were being made with traditional techniques in the same way as they had been doing in the Edo period. That's pretty amazing, and any of them would look very good hung on a wall.

I also took a look at the video, and I'm awestruck at how intricately they're able to carve the stamps out of the wood. I've done a bunch of similar things with linoleum and with pumpkins for Halloween, and I have never been able to achieve the level of detail that they do here, at least without me accidentally breaking part of the surface.
