Happy to see Saga Prefecture and Karatsu city on the list. Apparently Yuri on Ice fans have been crowding the area so much they even reopened Karatsu Castle. It's really fascinating how a piece of media can have such quantifiable effects in real life way beyond it's initial intent

I have been informed that the Detroit Skating Club—of all places—has enjoyed a heightened interest in certain circles for the same reason.

I once watched a video where the sites used in lovelibe sunshine has become so popular that some of the citizens there opened pop up shops to sell much souvenirs!! I love how there's so much love for the girls!! They always bring much tourism to the cities they r from!!

I didn't even realise Izu-Nagaoka was a setting for Love Live Sunshine until I visited there recently:
