I'm not surprised. The game was very well-recieved and certainly begged for a manga adaption, albeit with less of a video-game focus. It's natural to rush out and buy the first volume. However, due to the poor quality of the actual manga (because it's too like a video game), I'm betting more fans will see that it's not worth it and not buy any more volumes. Here's hoping the second game is all it's cracked up to be.

I hope the second game is worth the hype too...I never realized there was a manga though Confused . As a fan i'll probably buy this just because...although I don't really like the cover design.

Poor Bleach is only the 6th best-selling franchise of the moment (after Naruto, FMA, Furuba, RuroKen & DNAngel). It has plenty of love! Naruto and FMA just have SO MUCH LOVE right now, they dwarf everything else.

Once the Bleach anime is licensed, the manga will jump in sales...Naruto is only getting good sales because of Toonami...

Naruto has ALWAYS gotten good sales, hasn't it? It just got a big boost for volumes 1-7.

Interesting. In a way, I'm not really surprised, considering how popular FMA is. I wonder if Inuyasha was even on that list? And I agree that Naruto has always sold well, especially considering how popular it was before anybody licensed it. BLEACH does seem to be gaining some popularity, but it probably won't even hold a candle to the manga that already have anime on television until someone dubs that. All the same, it's still really popular. At my school, most of the manga they listed are all being read by more than one person, ESPECIALLY Fruits Basket.

Bleach is quickly gaining popularity. The latest subbed episode by DB had over 12,000 seeders and 8,000 leechers last I checked, which was near it's release. It still has over 6,000 seeders now.

And the line that made my day yesterday:

At the end of the opening theme, DB put, and I quote, "This show is so much better than Naruto."

>_>;;

The manga is doing pretty great right now, too. Hooray for Ulquiorra!

...As for Naruto, the manga's picking up a bit, but the anime is rolling downhill very fast.
