Something about this is strangely appropriate.

I find it rather amusing, personally. I mean hey, why not? If you can afford the trip, dress however you feel like. If he can afford going up in a space shuttle, I think he can afford to act like a total dork.

Is it just me, or did OTAKU NO VIDEO turn out to be completely true from end to end?

That sure is a weird idea. I just can't stop smiling when I'm thinking about it. It seems that the rich can really do everything.

Indeed, though I kinda expected someone to go dressed as Captain Kirk first.

But if i wanted to cosplay in outer space I would go as one of the aliens from Alien. Sure its not anime, but the fun would never stop.

Man, they are NEVER gonna let that go as a flight suit... it's not sound! Or safe for that matter.

Nabeshin has a good point about safety but, seriously, if he ever manages somehow pull this off it'll be like the utimate cosplay fan's dream come true.

Depends on how they go about doing it - odds are you could slightly modify a traditional launch spacesuit (e.g. the orange ones that US astronauts wear) to fulfill the cosplay idea.

Odds are they will find a way to let him do it - for an additional fee of course Wink
