Togashi is at least triple dipping on this game so it could actually happen.
You mean over 1 million in Japan since January, thanks to Famitsu digital tracking on December sales and January's retail sales to reach the milestone. |

Gee that reminds me of something he said exactly 10 years ago. "Hirokazu Hamamura, President of Enterbrain, has said in a report to Mainichi (newspaper), Dragon Quest IX could sell 5 million in Japan." http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136279 In the end DQIX only managed to sell 4.2 million copies in Japan. |

I doubt it, it will most likely 5+ million in the West if they localize it and they include the 3DS version to be localized and not just the PS4 version.
