Sweeeet. Wanted to check Key out for a while now, kind of missed my opportunity while Viz had it, kind of shrugged it off as some weird lesser OVA they had, but I've seen people speak quite highly of it, so this is great news for me to finally give it a look.

That's weird; I could have sworn Sentai had licensed Actually, I Am.... Huh.

Glad to see Key rescued, I already have the older release, but it's great that newer fans can pick it up. I'll definitely be getting Actually, I Am... Smile

Yeah, only part of CCS now that's stuck on DVD.

5 Centimeters Per Second was a pretty nice movie, good stuff there. I'm slightly interested in Kyousougiga since it's director by the same lady who helmed the first season of Kekkai Sensen. Don't care about the rest of the stuff they got.

So Discotek reached back into the well of never-licensed shows from the mid-00s, and Izumo came back as the "Yes, we should release this, North American fans have held high opinions of and pent-up demand for this series for over a decade" choice?

It's probably something Enoki Films pushed as part of a package deal, since Discotek has licensed other series from them.

I'm happy that Actually, I Am... got picked up by someone, and I'm very glad to see Kyousougiga finally has its release date set.

It would be nice if one day we could git Key on blu-ray.

Oooh, very nice February slate, Discotek! I still needs Star Fleet and Kyousogiga (and Lupin series 2 part 1).

I do wish Key the Metal Idol were on bluray though, I still have the old Viz release on my shelf, after all. But I am still glad it's back on the market because it is a classic.

I am sure that Theron Martin/Key would be happy with this announcement since his avatar is from "Key the Metal Idol".

So amped to have a solid date for the kyousogiga blu-ray! I watched the first episode, loved it and decided to wait for the blu-ray to see it in the best possible quality. It's art style, like the Eccentric family and Tsuritama are my absolute favorite and I wish we would get more of it.

Key the Metal Idol is an imperfectly written but quite wonderful show, that comes close to the likes of Evangelion or Serial Experiments Lain in its more introspective moments. I am glad this gem is returning to prominence after a long period of being out of print.

It is a shame they didn't pick up Aoi Bungaku.
