Looks like the image is from the 90s. I can tell by their clothes. It still has the old area code in the picture. It's split since then to the new area code mentioned in the article. I would not want to be the guy with the phone number in the old area code this weekend. ANN might want to make note of that or edit/change the image to avoid confusion. It's totally possible someone looking for the number comes to this article and calls the number off the image.

Now this really takes me back to the good old days of gaming back when games were made for fun and not profit.

WIll the Power Line be usable for Nintendo's newer games, or will it only be for the NES titles on the NES Mini?

If this new version of the classic NES console isn't going to include Duck Hunt, then I guess I'll just have to purchase one of the older models on Ebay. I will have to also pay to have it refurbished to get it working like new again.
Does anyone know of any good video game console repair shops? I also wouldn't paying for mail delivery either. "I wanna go back... in... time" with the classic NES. |

I know of a few places that do repairs for older systems, but they are strictly local and only do business in person. Unless you live in southern California or you're willing to make the trip over, it wouldn't be very practical. If you have a Wii (or Wii U), Duck Hunt is available on the Virtual Console. You use the Wii Remote as a substitute for the Zapper. |

I've got an idea for the slogan that Nintendo should use for something like this. And it should go "Let's party like it's 1989!" What do you guys think of that? Is it a good idea or what?

@slau783: Yeah, a basic "this number is no longer in service" disclaimer would help. To really throw in the 80s, Nintendo should do an add with Rick Astley.
