Kyoto Animation is going to animate this? Okay, I was really not expecting that.

Hmm, what I really wish for is more Dragon Half. Wink

That said, I think I'll be taking a backseat to this. As mush as I like dragons/dragon girls, this doesn't meet my tastes.

With the exception of the Koe no Katachi movie, I believe this is the studio's first manga-based project since 2011's Nichijō.

Did not expect this at ALL! Shocked

Hey, some potential good things came out of this. KyoAni actually doing a show starring an adult woman as an office lady, and they're tapping in the monster girl genre! And now they have Futabasha they could potentially continue to do business with if this becomes a success.

It looks cute! Cute is right up KyoAni's alley too.

Is this really yuri? I hope it's not between the office lady and the little, dragon girl cause that is not the kind of yuri I am into at all.

Comedy yuri, so don't expect much progress in the anime.

Its between the office lady and the dragon girl(the older one).

I didn't see this coming. Maybe they'll also adapt Ojojojo by the same author, while we're at it?

Is it gonna be a short or something? Yeah, wouldn't hurt to have more female protagonist because that's what I'm really interested to right now. The anime that I watched this season that has a male protagonist is quite possibly only Drifter, because that's a show full of badass. Heard so many great things about Jojo but I seriously can't keep up for now.

It's KyoAni so it's really just perpetual teasing at the expense of actual character development most of the time.

Is this seriously a thing? Why do you care about gender so much? I guess more importantly, is there really that much more anime with male leads? I've seen over 1000 anime and I really feel like anime is by far the most gender-balanced medium there is, at least when it comes to main characters.

I stopped taking it seriously when people say something as "yuri" in it. 90% of the time "Yuri" to the masses now days = looking at each other's faces. I'll wait and see. I have faith in KyoAni

The manga is shoujo ai with GL subtexts.

Not sure what to feel about this. Amagi Brilliant Park was okay. Myriad Colors Phantom World was so-so and didn't leave impact. Chuunibyou season 2 was bad. didn't watch Free and Hibike! Euphonium so I dont know. I was interested with Violet Evergarden.. Hope it will be good and forever will be remember by me.

Well... No. I will not say anything about the KyoAni designs, but almost all of their recent works after Free isn't even adaptations, but completely "based on" works with elevated up to eleven fanservice.
