Combat looks like a poor man's Scott Pilgrim, but it has potential I guess. I just can't get over how tacky everything looks. How far we've fallen from Fourze and Gaim.

Gaim is not that bad. The fruit samurai theme is silly but not how they did the story. They tried to be different. No stupid 2 episodes arc like most Kamen Rider series done. Gen Urobuchi really makes me hooked with his works. Too bad things going into the drain again after Drive out. I stopped watched Drive at 5 episodes. didn't bother with Ghost too(I heard it is way worse than Drive).

I think that's what he was implying. This series already look really disappointing to me... at least we'll get new season of Amazons in spring.

The suits in Fourze and Gaim are actually better than what we have here in Ex-Aid.

Yeah that's what I meant. To be fair, this is being done by the person who made the new Lupin. Who knows? Maybe it will exceed expectations.

Was Amazons good? I still haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

Kamen Rider has been slowly shifting to a "kids' only" approach for the last few years, but with Drive I thought they wanted to strike a balance and people that just like tokusatsu could also enjoy the series...but then Ghost proved me wrong and Ex-AID just looks awful if you're not 10. It's not a problem of looking tacky or cheap (which it does), but it looks like a mismatch of colors and overacting just to make sure they are able to keep an infant's attention.
