Adding a character named Poochy? Come on, Nintendo, I know The Simpsons is big in Japan, you should know better than this. Seriously, when is Yoshi going to get to the fireworks factory?! (begins crying)
Anyway, it's nice that a 3DS version is available but I'll stick with my Wii U version as the lower resolution here hurts the visuals somewhat. It's funny, Sony's recent handheld Vita didn't do well sales-wise so we started getting Vita games ported to the PS4 (Gravity Rush, Tearaway) whereas here it was Nintendo's recent console that underperformed so they're porting games to their handheld (this and Mario Maker). Funny (but sad, the Vita and Wii U have a solid library in my book) how that turned out.

I... might have to double-dip for this. I absolutely love Yoshi's Wooly World, and the addition of more levels and adorable animations is good in my book. Either way, I am happily adding the Poochy amiibo to my yarn Yoshi family.

Holy cow! I already have the Yoshi Amiibo and now there's a little woolly sidekick, too. This looks like it'll be like fun.

I believe the sales of the games themselves is why they were ported to the PS4 as opposed to the system.....Tearaway Unfolded though apparently bombed.

Super Mario Maker did pretty well on the WiiU so that's definitely not why it's getting a 3DS port, don't know about Wooly World though.

Not that I disagree here, but the canine assistant gimmick does seem as if it has been recycled to the extreme!
