Neither the series name nor the cheaply done logo are selling me, but I'd be up for another decent vampire story. Has anyone read the webcomic?

There are so many bad flags on this project already.
I mean, really. What kind of a name is Bloodivores? The synopsis honest to god had me rolling on the floor laughing. Also when have adaptations of Chinese works and/or Chinese anime ever been very good? The staff look so janky and cobbled together, who knows what they'll be able to put together. And what's up with that hideous logo that I could have made on GIMP in 2 minutes.
I have a morbid curiosity on how this show will turn out.

Mili?!!! No way!!!! This has to be their first anime appearance, congrats to them! I preordered their new CD, can't wait to get it.
I was immediately sighing at another cliche title to come out of China but I'll watch this just for them!

You gotta be part of the bloodline to say wryyyy.
Can't wait for an animation of Noblesse. A proper TV series rather than a short OVA.

I wonder if this means there will be 2 series from Emon/Haoliners scheduled for this October or the other one is delayed.

And with the original names please!
Since they're focusing on China all of the sudden can we get an anime of the manhua 1/2 Prince already? (I know it's Taiwanese but close enough)

I've read the webcomic before that was fan-translated into English, though I've read a few chapters on the original Mandarin one under the title 'Space-Time Prisoner' (literal Mandarin translation of the original title) which sounds like a vastly different kind of series altogether.
Overall, I'm quite mixed about the announcement of an adaptation. While the character designs are decent and the vampire concept somewhat different from other vampire series, I find that the story's pretty 'meh' and didn't feel like tracking the series after reading all of the available translated chapters. I could have missed out a gem in the rough should I have read it further, but it's just not working out for me.

Bloodivores? I haven't seen a portmanteau that dumb since Manimal.

Ah, that's a shame. Hadn't realized Space-time Prisoner and Bloodivores were the same series - turns out I've been skipping over it for months. I wonder if the odd name change is a sign that parts of the story will be altered as well? The idea of having a vampire show in autumn enthused me, but now that you've given your review, I'll keep my hopes low in preparation for mediocrity; after all, this is the same studio that blessed us with Hitori no Shita.

While I haven't watched the series yet, these recent Chino-Japanese productions could become a regular thing. With over 1 billion people, the amount of TV anime viewers in China might be the largest overall.

Seems there's been a lot of cross collabs being done. We've seen Japanese/Korean and Japanese/Chinese. It's always interesting to see these projects getting life.
