Been a long time since volume 9 was released. Looking forward to reading how it all ends. I assume that final volume will be out in 2017.

Did the manga (or the source LNs) ever get good? The anime had an interesting premise and appealing designs, but ultimately felt slight and pointless to me after its one season.

In the US, Seven Seas has it scheduled for July 11th.

In the US, Seven Seas has it scheduled for July 11th. |
I *think* this may be their TBD date.

I wish they would license the LN already. Though it is sad that while Cecily and Luke get married, he dies a few months after they have the 2nd kid.

Probably, since they set it after their previous TBD date (May 3, 2016) passed. But if the last chapter is coming out in October, it's more that plausible that this could also be the actual release date.

So the LN has 16 volumes and the manga will only have 10? Does the manga cover all the way to the end?

I believe so. That's what I've heard, at least. |
I've also heard it does.
But, the reason that the manga is 10 volumes is down to a volume of the manga (I think it was 7 or 8?) that covers 4 volumes. They would've cut out a lot, but did it in a way where I didn't feel like I missed out on story. I wouldn't have known they had skipped a lot of material if it wasn't mentioned in the back-matter of the volume.
