I hope Giga continues where Next left off with oneshots. I prefer oneshots over series.

You know your manga's made it big when it gets an anime. You know your manga's become a phenomenon when it gets a spinoff.

Would you describe Ninja Slayer as a sensation?

I don't know about all that. The Seven Deadly Sins has a couple of spinoffs, but I don't think it's a phenomenon. That may be because my standard of phenomenon is set by one Piece and Attack on Titan. Does One Piece even have a spinoff?

My Hero Academia has had a four panel spinoff for a while too.

Note that by setting One Piece and Shingeki no Kyojin as the standard, then there probably hasn't been another phenomenon in this industry in this side of the millenium. Nope, not even Naruto came close to either.

Anyway, One Piece had Chopperman running in Saikyo Jump, then that ended. Now it's One Piece Party running there.
Though I would agree that having a spinoff is not sufficient as a sign of being a phenom (particularly in Saikyo Jump since spinoffs is kind of its thing). For crying out loud, Toriko has a spinoff in Saikyo Jump. And Toriko's a disappointment to WSJ.

Toriko was considered a Big Three member at one point, with the magazine's popularity survey results putting it neck and neck with Naruto and One Piece. It's fallen hard since, but it was once up there.
