Hey, that's pretty cool that some of these manga are from authors who had failed series in Weekly Shonen Jump. This will be their next chance.

Here's my concern. I have seen artists after a project start a new one, but has one creator ever have two series running at once? I saw the food Wars creator on this list and it makes me think either
A. Food wars is ending
B. The quality of food wars might drop
C. Nothing changes at all.

It's really not that uncommon for creators to be working on more than one project. The author of Princess Jellyfish has other series on the go at the moment as well. World renowned Osamu Tezuka is another example. It's a lot more common than you'd think.

I think Tsukuda will be fine considering this is only a few times a year, and he's just doing the story for both manga.

Glad to see Shiibashi back. Nothing really came out of his past few one-shots. I'd like to read the one by Himedol's mangaka too. Wonder if Viz would add any of these to ESJ, but really I doubt it.

There's also Hiro Mashima, who draws Fairy Tail and all of its ongoing spin-offs at the same time. And then there's Hiroyuki Takei, who at one point was drawing Shaman King (the revised ending), Ultimo, Jumbor Barutronica, and a one-shot at the same time.

I don't know how they do it. It takes Eiichiro Oda 21-hour workdays to make One Piece.

I do wonder if Ippei Goto will be doing this one. His art is kind of rough, but I think he'll make something great if he wasn't creatively shackled by being in the ultra-competitive WSJ.

So nice to see Fukuda and Miki get new ongoing series, I loved Devily Man and Cyborg Roggy so it's great to see them working on something else.

With the various name changes and how often it comes out, I think Shueisha will be changing it yet again. I think a monthly release would be better so the more chapters are made year. This would also enable more tankoubon to be released each year which means that there are more opportunities to make more fans.

I wonder if we'll see Toriko join the lineup for the next quarter...
