Why did they pick up Ikki Tousen? Why?
There's lots of good anime that haven't gotten licensed (Nodame Cantabile) and lots of ex-Geneon shows that deserve saving (Haibane Renmei, Lain, Trigun, Last Exile,etc.) and then they choose what is arguably one of the worst shows in Geneon's catalog. A show that exists only to show girls fighting and losing clothing. Hopefully we'll see something worthwhile picked up in their further licenses. |

After showing that they have the guts to license cult classics like Baccano and Shigurui, my respect for FUNimation has seriously dropped after I got a look at the picture of the two female characters in the encyclopedia.

Seriously, the first series was so much excrement that I stopped caring after the third volume and never looked at the show again, or its sequels. The sad thing is I was gullible in thinking it would tide me over until the much better Tenjo Tenge, but oh God, was it terrible. Seriously, FUNi is doing great things for anime, but this ain't one of them. |

Huh, kind of figured that this was one of the Geneon "rescues" that FUNi was going to announce, but wasn't completely sure. I already have the DVDs so it's a pass in my book.

Now Looking at the clue and reading what battle vixens 'ikki tousne' is about it makes sense
Dread Of Semester but Van Dread is much smarter |

So can we now conclude that the clues given uses some form of "sound-alikes" in the postcards? I mean with the "itchy toes" and such.

i just assumed the first clue was the 1 they gave us without having to look you no on the news bit when it told us about new show a go go sorry i no the anime is about to rival schools and it said feelings of dread of next semester |

And there are alot of better Fighting Fanservice Girl animes that are out and dubbed so nothing special about these girls in this show
i cant name any on the spot as i try and keep away from that area. But Fanservice anime is everywhere really. |
