Wow, I didn't know it was already completely translated and released, so that shows how much I know. But regardless, is the show of good quality? It seems like standard-but-enjoyable fantasy fare, and I'm going to assume no knowledge of the original game or the Loki series spun off from the manga is necessary for enjoyment.
Also, I noticed that FUNi did the "9 episodes on two discs in one volume!" thing for this series. I miss that Bandai practice ![]() |

I'd recommend skimming the ANN reviews, but the short answer is that the series is generic and painfully dull in pretty much every aspect. Except for the flashback where spoiler[a very young girl is dragged into an alley and beaten up by three men for trying to sell apples without a merchant's license, or some crap,] and that's only memorable for how disgustingly inappropriate and unnecessary it is.
Say what? I'm pretty sure Mythical Detective Loki Ragnorak has absolutely nothing to do with the anime based off the Korean MMORPG that happens to reference Norse mythology. |
