Dragonball Z Movie Packs in Blu-ray

So I have these three movie packs on my wishlist and I will probably purchase them once I own all of the Dragonball Z Kai season boxes. I just have one question:

Has there been any news on whether or not these packs will be released in blu-ray? It is my understanding that they released each film in blu-ray when they were putting out those steelbook two- and three-pack movie sets.

I am also aware that any blu-ray edition would be a definite upscale. If they're not going to do this, is it because it went over rather horribly the first time, or what?

Ahh. Interesting.

Are you sure this pertains to the movies as well or just the series? The article seems focused solely on the Blu-ray Level volumes.

Well the way I read it, it sounded to me like they were referring to EVERYTHING except Kai. I could be wrong, but that's how it sounded to me.

Oh snap, really?

Well then, that would explain it; I thought these were long discontinued... Or at least, they seemed to be, considering that a couple of them were going for ridiculous prices by third parties on Amazon.

EDIT: Some of these have the Japanese track in mono... Now that's just fucked up. Is that source, or what?

EDIT 2: Whether it is or it isn't, this seems to be apparent on both the double features and the boxes, nevermind.

And, I just realised why I thought they were discontinued: probably because they are. In DVD. That's why they cost so damned much.
