http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0913860/ credits him as a director on the opening sequence on the the T.A.T.U. anime.

i wonder if that project is even still alive

considering the last update to the website was january 24th. and the expected release date is in november.

and IRC didn't tatu essesntly have a falling out.

As I've heard from www.tATu.Fatal.ru, The official designs are to be released Sept 1st, but the web site (www.tatu-paragate.jp/index.html) hasn't been updated since February. Apparently it's still in pre-production because they already know how much they'll be paying to produce this and how long it is. I wonder if they're just quietly withdrawing from the Paragate Project since t.A.T.u. aren't so popular anymore. I'm hoping they'll release it in November because I'm really curious as to what the storyline is. The tag-line is so vague.

I could care, but the fact that Watanabe got Seiichi Yamamoto to do the Mindgame soundtrack is so awesome that I can forgive any of his musical sins, present or future.
