I looked at the encyclopedia, and there's no information there about the music and the audio part of the Japanese version. Any information about the Japanese version?

I have yet to see any proof of the actual existance of the show in Japan; No TV listings, no TV websites, no Japanese TV screen caps. I'm pretty sure it's the same deal as some of the other animation presented by Hasbro, they had it made for them by a Japanese studio. The animation is really screwedup though, it's almost like the show was made for Japan, but cancled in production so Hasbro got a hold of it and made it their own.

I guess that this is another Japanese-American collaboration like SD Gundam.

i just did some research on Duel Masters and i found that was never aired on TV and went straight to video. I don't know if you should consider it to be an OVA though since it was originally made for TV.

Duel Masters? I don't know anything about the Japanese version. It remains shrouded in mystery I guess.

According to the Plastic Cow peops: Dual Masters Japan is a series of 5-minute shorts like Clone Wars, probably shown as commercials like 5 min shhorts are shown here. THe show sucks. THe show is magrinally popular. THe only reason why we get a dub is because Wizards of the Coast actually owns the series on both sides of the Pacific. The dub IS a complete rewrite.

Yu-gi-oh Maven Edo Hrzic has a site. According to the site, Magic: The Gathering was played in the manga for about 6 months, then switched to the current game. Also, Shobu Kirifuda is a play on words. (I'll defer to Abunai for that. ^__~)

I highly doubt it's a five minute short and i'll be damned if all that crap you found out or just said is true.

Hence your name. =P

Terrible pun =P

Well, the show is crap. But I wouldn't be suprised if it wasn't very popular in Japan. It is, just another Card Game show.

Any moron could figure that last part out. Anyway, the real reason we're even talking about this is because this replaced Yu-gi-oh! as King of Card Games, and we can't merchandise anything for kids anymore unless we have a television show about it.

What do you mean "anymore"? It's been that way since the 70's!

I was being funny, though not entirely joking.

But that's not an excuse, that's the year Transformers, He-man and GIJoe were nearing their peak! :p
