It's possible Bandai got it before the deal between NuTech and Ken Groove. Or maybe NuTech didn't want it.

Anyway, YAY!!

I figured it was Bandai. It would have been TOO weird if it was licensed by NuTech. Shocked

Actually, Scrapped Princess was extremely popular. Popular enough, in fact, that Bandai and ADV were in a bidding war that lasted at least from early September last year until just recently. I'd known there was a bidding war because I'd spoken to Matt Greenfield about it at last year's NDK. He wasn't too happy about it, because he really wanted the show.

I'm just thrilled the license has finally gone through, and now it will come out here in the states! *cheers*

Now I really need to get my Monk cosplay done. I am already planning a D&D/BESM campaign. Of course, Shannon will be an NPC.

The only thing I'm worrying about is the translation of character names. Bandai definitely needs someone who has a great deal of knowledge about modern weaponry in order to translate Scrapped Princess properly.

Since it's Bandai, the names will be the same.

Unless you're talking about something else.

Yes, this is what I'm talking about. I don't want "Pacifica Kasuru." Even "Pacifica Kasull" is not good enough, unless the name of the catridge is copyrighted.
