Even low ranking Jump titles like To Love-Ru can still sell well. With over 2.7 million magazines in circulation, Jump titles definitely get a lot of exposure. The The To Love-Ru manga is way more entertaining than the terrible anime adaptation that aired this past season.
Also, after another long hiatus, it's nice to see HxH still selling well. With this release of Volume 26, the American HxH releases are catching up pretty fast now.

Everybody loves Hunter x Hunter too. Without it life wouldn't be much. On top of that good job for NANA. One of the most popular shojo titles on the market right now.

Surprised Souten No Ken can still make the top 10. I hear it's not as popular as its predecessor(sequel?).

Does this mean the HxH story line has started to get more interesting? I love HxH, but the Chimera Ant story arc has been boring the crud out of me.

Meh, if I can recollect I don't think the Chimera Ant story is as long as the one where they had to go into the game. The reason why this particular arc is seemingly dragging is because the author keeps taking these year long hiatuses, which causes the release times between books to increase, therefore we can't find out what's going on. That's the problem.

The Chimera Ant arc is actually the longest storyline thus far in the manga. It takes place from the end of chapter 185 upwards (up to 283 at the moment), whereas the Greed Island arc lasted from chapter 120 to 185 (65 chapters compared to the 97+ chapters of the current arc). As far as the level of interest regarding the recent chapters of the ant arc goes I'd say it's gotten better. That's not to say that I thought the rest of the arc was bad, but it definitely is at its climax point. Also, I'd like to mention that although the breaks are long, they are not nearly as long as the infamous 20 month break that happened between feb of '06 and oct of '07. Since then it has been on for 2.5 months, off for 2.5, on for 2.5, off for 5, on for 2.5 (current run of chapters). So even though it's not consistent by any means, at least it's not unbearably long.

Huh, I'll have to go back and read through it again. But I understand what you mean. Reminds me a lot of the Alabasta arc and all of its mini-arcs in One Piece. Except Oda doesn't take long breaks.
