I know that the current USA Newtype's have a page that show the % of the market the Japanese are watching. It sounds like that's what you are looking for. If you have any way of obtaining them, you should be able to find some of the information you are looking for.

According to my Newtype Japan (June), on the week of 3/29-4/4 (the latest it has), the top rating anime were as follows:
1) Sazae-san: 18.1 2) Chibi Maruko-chan: 13.4 3) Doraemon: 12.7 4) One Piece: 12.3 4) Kochikame: 12.3 6) Crayon Shin-chan: 9.0 7) Konjiki no Gash Bell: 8.4 8) Naruto: 8.1 9) Hinotori: 7.9 10) Kamen Rider Blade: 7.8 (Not an anime but it was listed neverthless) These change every week of course, but usually the top ones are up there week after week, except they might vary in order. And Detective Conan, Inuyasha and Atashinchi are usually up there (ahead of Crayon Shin-chan) but they took that week off. |
