The Anime Prime editing report lacks detail—does anyone know what was actually cut from this show?

I don't know myself, but I'm guessing it's the "payoff."
My girlfriend has a copy of this; I believe she got it at a con, of all places. But yeah, I got to about 1/4 through scene 3 before giving up. |

Ah, good times, this OVA was one of the first imported anime LD's that I bought way back when. I was lucky enough to get Sonoda's autograph on it a few years ago too.

I coulda had the DVDs for a couple bucks. They were sitting on the shelves for months! Along with Soar High Isami, Phantom of Inferno, and Amusement Park (which I always take to the family section).

While it should be pointed out for others that the last two of those are games, Phantom of Inferno is particularly good...though its own 3-part OVA adaptation is merely mediocre, from what I've heard, but even that should be better than Idol Fighter Su-Chi-Pai. |

This disc isn't actually that hard to find...at least not at cons. Every dealer's room has at least two or three retailers (usually the smaller ones) trying to get rid of copies of this and other Hirameki releases. I'm pretty sure it's the same discs each year, as no one wants them.
Also, Hirameki had a very weird business model of taking ecchi games (or in this case, anime) and cutting all the dirty parts out, and then selling them to the general public. I guess they figured since porn is cheaper to license, they could buy the rights for a song, edit the content until it was clean, and cash in by selling to a wider audience than it would have reached otherwise? Most likely both the anime and the documentary had some "obscene matters" which were removed (and which were intended to reward whatever poor sap sat through them.) |

For some reason when I read this, it reminded me of the extras on Speed Grapher. Just plain uncomfortable to watch. Like at very first it is interesting, then you start to feel sorry for the poor girl. |

Funny, I remember thinking the edits were pretty blatant on this disc. I'm assuming it was very quick nipple shots (two very quick edits). The music jumped in both cases. I think we're talking about less than 30 seconds in total, if that, of edits. But I haven't got the Japanese VHS or LD, so I can't be 100% sure.
This OVA certainly deserves to be featured in buried garbage, but this certainly isn't the worst anime I've seen. Well, at least Sonoda's character designs were rather nice. Edit: Justin, please look into "Dracula: Sovereign Of The Damned" for a future edition of Buried Garbage. It's a masterpiece of trash. Harmony Gold's dub only adds to the insanity. |

To this day, the worst anime I've ever seen was Battle Arena Toshinden.

Kemonomimi =/= furry.
They have to have more than ears and a tail to be considered furry. See Krystal from Star Fox. |

I've never understood strip arcade games. Why spend ages playing a video game when the same sort of titillating rewards are now but a few clicks away?
