Will certainly, at least, check it out.

Given this is a romantic comedy, why do I have the feeling that this show will be using Ano Hana's "original" script. Nevertheless, I look forward to this. And those character designs are so damn nostalgic.

Yeah .. and it was a very Taiga look! I do hope they don't try and add a Taiga clone though. She was an excellent character and doesn't need to be repeated elsewhere.

So JC Staff will be working on the following shows for winter:

-Ano Natsu
-Shana III 2nd half
-Bakuman II 2nd half?
-Milky Holmes II
-Zero no Tsukaima F
-Baby, Please Kill Me

Did I miss any? Sheesh JC Staff, you're better off focusing on 2 or 3 shows so you don't get massive flops like Shana III is turning out to be.

Is there something wrong with Shana III? The word going around is that it's by far the best adaptation the series has seen, and it easily puts Shana II to shame. Production isn't fantastic (as with S2), but it's still stronger and more consistent than some of the other shows airing this season (including the abysmal Persona 4, which has been dominating the charts).

In terms of popularity, the biggest issue is that the novels saw a steep decline over the past couple years - basically a series that went on for too long and failed to hold the readers' attention through the final stretch.

No disagreement here. I have a feeling a lot of work will be outsourced.

The anime character designs are done by the same person as Toradora and Anohana.
