Great review. You're right, that cover is hideous and did certainly cause me to go "ugh" when I saw it at the bookstore and continued on my way. Since the market is so flooded, it seems kind of tragic to stick a good book with a bad cover. Either way, this book sounds cute and surprisingly involved, so you've got me interested to check it out!

What's wrong with the cover? I don't get it. I thought the cover was pretty good. And I'm a guy and don't read these things. Just what was wrong with it?

-Spoiler Inside-

I bought this a few months back and I didn't really care too much for it. The art was fine, but the story was weird to me. I didn't like it how everyone knew about the toy right away, instead of it being hidden. I think there were too many obvious influences from Toy Story and the other things she talked about too. It was an okay story, but I'd rather not read anymore.

Cover looks a little weird but I am willing to gve it a shot. I might have to pick it up when I make another manga run in the future.
