This story concept sounds like it could either rock or suck, depending on how it's paced and handled. Has anyone read the manga? How is it?

Would have made more sense if she was from Vatican instead do the Church of England do they even have any old religous text like the Vatican does?

Novel, not manga. Andrew Cunningham (translator for a lot of stuff) has done a brief review of it: http://easternstandard.pbwiki.com/A+Certain+Magical+Index |

Oh wait so stop distribution and apologise if your anime contains some copy/pasted religious text that sneaked but if you only NAME the "evil" church and use them as a key plot point...
Not that as a Christan I'm really offended, its just a anime after all. But please tell me people that you also see the double standard. |

Relax, this is just a anime series. Nothing that needs to get one worked up about. |

Double standard? Muslims complained, Christians didn't. |

I don't know. It appears that The Shroud of Turin was destroyed. At least in JoJo, the Qur'an was kept intact.
We should get the torches ready. Find some pitchforks. Boycotting is too good for those guys. |

Beat me to it. Yeah, every time I read a new one, I wonder why it took me so long. They're a complete blast. Looking forward to this; even more so when we hear who's making it. |

Love it! I hope Yen Press bring it over, and I hope Bones do the animation.

Thanks. Sorry for the manga/novel typo. I meant one and said the other.
Anyway, Andrew, your review makes me want to watch this. |
