Kingdom is excellent. For the most part it is about battles and politics, with some good amount of actual history thrown in. Currently, it's without doubt one of the greatest epics in graphic form. But after reading who is involved in the TV production, I am slightly dissapointed. There is nothing of interest in their portfolios. This may be mister Hara's first series, but he shows a surprising level of professionalism in his drawings and composition from the beginning. That's because he had worked as an assistent to Takehiko Inoue before he started Kingdom.

Sounds cool. Looking forward to checking it out.
I like the sound of action and politics with a bit of history taking center stage. I liked the director's work on The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye and Blue Seed is an old title I really liked back when it was new but that one's too old to get a feel for what his work's like now, The Third was quite good though at least. I hope they get a good composer looking at the teaser image and your description of what it's about. |

One of this director's previous works -- D.I.C.E. -- got an exciting average mark "Bad".
Lets hope this time things will be different. |
