I'm scratching my head on this one: what is the "correct" transliteration of 鵜島仁文, the artist who performed the theme song to Mobile Suit G Gundam "FLYING IN THE SKY": Ushima Yoshifumi or Ushima Hitofumi? I see either name in romanji credited to the song here on ANN, Wikipedia, and MusicBrainz. CD seller Neowing.co.jp's English site CDJapan.co.jp transliterates it as Yoshifumi. Google comes up with 783 results for "Yoshifumi Ushima", and 464 results for "Hitofumi Ushima". Does anyone know?
EDIT: Never mind, an Amazon.co.jp had one release with a cover art in romanji: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B000YN6MKA. For future reference, the name is Yoshifumi Ushima (鵜島仁文 Ushima Yoshifumi). Please retransliterate 鵜島仁文 involving Gundam to Yoshifumi Ushima. |
