What exactly in their store is bootleg? They've got some great stuff (read:SkyGunner) and I just wanted to know what merchandice they carry is bootleg. DVDs, apperal, video games etc., etc., so I can aviod it. I like the store, and wanna shop there, but...

To my knowledge most of the CDs, wallscrolls, and some merchandice is bootleg. Your best bet if you want to buy from them is to avoid items that they say are imported, and to avoid items that they don't give the company name for. Here is the Pirate Anime FAQ which might help you.

Edit: One more thing: I would avoid buying the posters from them at all costs, because a good number of them are nothing more than anime calendars that have been cut-up and laminated,

One more thing to add, as far as videos go, the HK DVD's are bootleg.

As far as the other stuff, I'm not too sure, I usually only order videos from them.

Does that include Wall Scrolls? Or just posters?

Some of the wallscrolls are ligit (The Great Eastern ones), but most of them are bootleg, as for the posters I'm not sure which are ligit, but it is probaly a good bet that the ones that say imported are calendar chops. As it turns out I have about 50% of the Chobits 'posters' because I bought the imported 2003 Chobits calendar Razz

With the Atlus logo on the front and the PS2 seal/sticker running across the top I'd say it's a legit domestic disc.

Well, the problem is that with the exception of the GE wallscrolls, just about every US retailer has bootlegged wall scrolls. It's disappointing, because even the anime cons that have a stringent zero-bootlegs policy will have retailers with booted wallscrolls.
