USB is USB, so yes, it would work on an American computer. I want one of these so bad.

USB = Universal Serial Bus. Emphasis on the Universal. American computers will have no problem.
Well, I guess after the Lancelot Ignition Key and the Gurren Lagann (sp?) Drill, this is the next logical step. I can totally see some crazy otaku booting his OS from this USB Plug and pretending like he has a spiritual link with his computer because of it. |

I think its too expensive for a 2Gb USB, 37 bucks, for that money i can get a 4 to 8 gb.... it wont be an entry plug, but then again, Im not that fan.

Heh, most computer standards are developed by American companies. It's an area where America leads.
How about USB drives for shows like Hand Maid May?
You could even get 16gb flash drives for that price. A 2gb flash drive could cost you only US$10. They're making a hefty profit over the fans' exuberance. |

Yup, you'll be overpaying for the coolness factor...you can get 2 gig USB drives for less than that or 8 to 16 Gigs for that price...

It's a sad thing to see fans being taken advantage of this badly. Look at all these nice flash drives for less money than the EVA product.

I love EVA as much as the next guy, but that really looks like a tampon

Don't give them any more USB-rechargeable wireless vibrating ideas! |

Pretty cool. I would get it if it weren't so unreasonably priced. Then again, I don't know if I would use it seriously, or just hang onto it as a collector's item. It's why I don't normally buy everyday objects that have been costumized for a fandom.

Sorry, I still find the Lancelot Key and Core Drill USB drive replica's oh so much cooler.

it's not about how much GBs. People buy it for the desgin. Company has to pay loyalty to use that design. |

That page makes me sad. Just a few years ago I had to pay fifty bucks for a 500-meg usb drive. Now I can get 8 for less than thirty dollars > As others have pointed out, the price comes from the license, not the product itself. And yes, I also think it looks like a tampon O.o; |

Looks kinda of cool. I would buy it if it was cheaper and easily purchased. The idea of a Hand Maid May one sounds sketchy and intriguing at the same time.
