I want to see the xxxHOLiC movie. I have been keeping up with the US manga releases. I take from the trailer, that the movie is not canon to those???

I have read that the series goes in and out of official story lines, but haven't heard that about the movie?

The trailer looks pretty good. I hope it does well. If so maybe we'll see Tokyo Revelations as well.

Well for my part I already pre-ordered it on Amazon as we followed Tsubasa up until it's conclusion. I'm hoping Tokyo Revelations does come over. Tsubasa isn't even close to my favorite anime, but it's a good one and has a good dub.

I should at least see this trailer I guess, but I was willing to purchase this one blindly due to Tsubasa and Chobits.

You need to follow both the Tsubasa and xxxHolic TV series to get the full context of both movies, BUT they both work perfectly fine as stand-alone items.

Sheesh.... I cant believe I have been waiting almost 3 years to get these on DVD already...

I ordered my copy as soon as it came on a TRSI/Funi sale. I'm really looking forward to watching both.

I'm looking even more forward to the first volume of xxxholic the series which is going to be released in March!

I would too Lydia, except that fans familiar with both the manga and anime don't seem wildly enthusiastic. Sadly, Marie noted a while ago that the manga continuity is not followed - which means a great deal of the character and relationship developments were apparently messed up Sad

Well I have heard the same things, that is doesn't follow the manga. But since I love the manga, I don't see how I can not see this, and just hope the parts that are not followed are at least quality. Or in other words, I wouldn't be so offended it won't follow the manga to a T, so as long as it is still quality.

So as long as they still keep releasing the manga in the states, then I should be alright. Now if they stop that though, that's when I will get offended.

With one exception though. I would like to know if the TV show or movie ruins anything for those following along in the stateside manga release.
