Is it true that the Suikoden Demon Century OVA is based on a manga of the same name.

Suikoden Demon Century (OVA) is based on a novel by Yoshioka Hitoshi. When Yoshioka wrote the Yōseiki Suikoden series, he borrowed characters from Suikoden and set the story in the near future.
