Thanks for the links, Greencine sounds the most promising IMHO,And although i am a Netflix subscriber they don't have as much anime as the aforementioned.

If you're in Australia, try
http://www.webflicks.com.au/ I've been very happy with them so far, and they have pretty much all Region 4 anime discs and get new ones very soon after they come out. |

I also noticed that it seems to take an extra day for some anime titles (they push up the shipping date). I noticed it when I rented an Outlaw Star. It took almost a week to get a Habinae-Renmei disc too. But I use Netflix for non-anime dvd rentals too, so I'm stuck with them I guess. |

Does anyone tried any of these sites?
I found it's a waste to buy compulsively and it's better to rent and only buy the extremely exceptional stuff *a reason why I've kept my collection pretty small thusfar.* So, does anyone have any reccomendations? Most anime I watch is mainstream enough so they could have it on Netflicks even. |

This has a pretty good anime collection, for all us canadians (Yes no more $40-80 DVDs)! I have not subscribed to it yet, just have to get a credit card. But when I do I will let you know how it is. |

Personally i use netflix and I love it. I have five out at a time for 26 bucks a month about a one day turnaround.
They have obscure crappy b movies which i love and are hard to find and never worth buying. and most of the new anime titles. no older stuff same as all these other sites. little more mainstream yes but only for anime. and they do take requests suposedly. they carry most of the collections complete exept gundam wing i still haven't seen past the fith disk. but hey nobodys perfect. i've been with them for less than a year and already rented more than 400 movies. I have a que over 200 titles long its great and probably saves me thousands. |

I just ordered some dvd's from anime forest and there are a few things you should know. First, if you are going to pay by check or money order, they require that you provide a 75$ deposit payment. If you pay by credit card or debit card, they dont require it. Also, you only get 10 days to watch them. Otherwise, your charged a late fee of, i beleave, 3-4$ Just thought I let everyone know.

I've been using RentAnime.com for several months now, and I would recommend it. It works just like NetFlix (flat monthly rate, no late fees), and they have fantastic selection.

Blockbuster
http://www.blockbuster.com They don't have much anime and I don't use it, they've been competing with Netflix for a while. I used Netflix for a while, but I don't rent anime anymore. |

I second this. I been a customer of theirs since they started in July 2004, and they been spectacular in their service. A week ago, I started a thread in relation to RentAnime: animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12891 |
