Good. When I ordered my NERV bag from them through right stuf it took me four months to get it. I'm assuming most of their products took that long.

Holy...well that's a good move on the part of the Right Stuf. I have a Mythwear bag, but I got it during a convention.

Around Onnafest (which must've been 2 years ago), I noticed their site lagging immensely, the search function was faulty, and many webpages of products felt abandoned. But I spotted a Hellsing Hellhound messenger bag in their online catalog, and chose to hunt for my bag at a con, instead of ordering it from them online.
The messenger bag's great and makes an excellent laptop carrier. Mythwear products are sold at every anime con I've gone to, but, with the exception of *one con I could remember*, they're never sold directly by the Mythwear company itself.
*What has happened to Mythwear?*

Right Stuf is pretty good about getting stuff out in a timely manner. Not as fast as amazon but I get most of my stuff inside of a month. I order from them all the time.
As for Mythwear, that sucks that they have dropped from the face of the earth. There bags were pretty cool, and some of the better anime licensed products you could find, that had a lot of "smaller" titles.

With Geneon and now Mythwear gone I wonder if the spring catalog will make it past 100 pages?
Although they have been putting a little more content in, and I wouldn't mind a little more.

All the Mythwear bags I ever saw were really tacky, except for this one really cool FLCL one a girl that comes to the library a lot carries.
Oh well -_-

What about Great Eastern? I've I was until today waiting on a Great Eastern bag. I orderd it in the last week of Aug and hadn't recieved it yet (its been awhile) and i canceled the order. I have no idea how true that rings for their other products.

Guess that's what happens when you don't show responses in a timely manner, or give the impression you don't have good customer service or trying to keep good ties with other companies you're working with.

I used to work at the actual mythwear store in Houston during the summer it was open.
I can say that employees, as well as customers, had no idea what the hell was going on at any given time, and I was always amazed that the store was still there when I came back the next day. Anime Avalon, formerly Planet Anime, headed up Mythwear and went out of business in September.
That said, good-hearted and interesting people ran it, and I still respect them.

It sounds strange that they seem to have vanished out of thin air. Even if they went out of business, wouldn't there be an announcement or notice somewhere?
However about a year back I ordered an FMA wallet from their site. Said it was in-stock but got an e-mail the next day saying it was put on back order. I actually forgot about the order over time, and about 4 months later I got a call from a lady with an accent so heavy I could barely understand ask me "You still want wallet?" I said yeah, and it arrived 2 weeks later. After that I only bought their stuff at cons or from on-line retailers like Anime Nation.
It's a shame though. I really liked their products. I use one of their "Lucky Bags" for my purse at work, and I always take my Messenger Bag with me on trips, whether it be a con or the local state fair.
The only complaint I ever had about their actual products, is I wish their wallets had a zippable/button-able place to put your loose change.

Maybe the dudes that started it graduated from college and got real jobs?
jk
Pretty shoddy business practice. Kinda a mystery.
It will be interesting to see if there is any response from Mythwear...

I've been wanting a bag from Great Eastern. But it hasn't been in stock for a while. Do you know its site?

Sad. I've shared some good times with my Fruits Basket messenger bag, which took about 2 weeks to ship.
