I have no idea what to expect from this and two of the other anime films HIFF is screening (Osamu Tezuka's Buddha: The Great Departure and Legend of the Millennium Dragon.) Should be an interesting festival, though I'm not expecting to be blown away by the FMA movie.

Agreed. Would love to see a BD release with English dub. Wonder if it will fair as well as Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time did.

Well here's a movie to look forward to ! and it's nice to see it being screened almost around the world before its release.
I have to say though, it's a beautiful slew of artists working on this film ! all have worked on other major animation movies.
If the story is solid enough, this may turn out excellent. Wonder if it'll win a major prize at the Annecy Festival (because it will most certainly be nominated) !
