I will take this as evidence supporting the possibility of getting Sailorstars in the US.
Why? Because Toei was in a Catch 22 with Stars. They couldn't release it in the US unless it was heavily edited (which they didn't want to do). But if they released it uncut, parents would wonder what was so bad about it so that it couldn't be put on TV like the rest of it (they wanted to protect the "family-friendly" image Sailor Moon had in the US). If they're licensing for an adult costume company to make a slutty Sailor Moon costume, they obviously don't care about the "family-friendly" image anymore. |

WTF are you talking about?
There is nothing "slutty" about that. That is a straight up costume that you could buy at Walmart, not Pamela's Secrets. If anything, the skit is too long. So yea, watch the video before you comment so you can avoid putting your foot in mouth. |

Nothing slutty about a sailor scout drinking beer, or maybe I should say unlabeled drink. |

You're right there is nothing slutty about a grown woman wearing what she wants and drinking alcohol she is legally allowed to buy. And anyone calling her a slut is being... well several words but let's go with an ass for now. |

I know the picture is kinda grainy, but that's an ugly costume. You can find better ones tailor made to you, online..albeit, not for the $29.99 that HT will likely charge for it.
Now, if they released something that looked like an adult version of the PGSM outfits they made for the little tykes in Japan, I'd buy it. |

Hey, hotshot, we're talking about the actual costume, not the person wearing it (though drinking alcohol doesn't make someone a slut either). The costume itself is not slutty at all, which is what Dessa was insinuating. |

The thing about cheap-o costumes is they look cheap and fugly unless the person wearing them is super hot, a model or a pornstar. There is nothing "hot" about your avg. to fugly person wearing said costume, far from it.
The situation only gets monumentally worse from there if the person is overweight, like fatty guys'n gals in pegleg, lowrise or skinny jeans for example--just, no. |

How fitting they're called 'Leg Avenue', that describes the Sailor Senshi perfectly.

I couldn't watch the video, and I've seen this company's work. I've seen their bootleg Sailor Moon costume. I have never seen a costume they've made that wasn't skimpy, and even with that screenshot I can't make out anything.

Find it apropos that a lingerie outfit is making saucy sailor fuku.

I think I'd need to see a better image, but I don't think it looks that bad.

This costume might not be that great, but it's still something at least! And I've seen worse ones before!
Bad thing is it probably won't come in larger sizes (just like the shirts) for us larger girls. Probably only for junior sizes. But, it is Leg Avenue which does sell some larger stuff. (Like my kitty costume I had last year, which on me wasn't really all that "slutty" or revealing. Heck I've seen worser things on people in school!) I'm just happy stuff like this is being made! |

WTF are YOU talking about? Leg Avenue is synonymous with sluttified costumes worn by "whores" on Halloween or at some rave club on theme night. Have you ever bothered to look at their website? |

As I remember it, the sailor scout garb as depicted in the show was designed to be a bit risque in an effort to appeal to a male fanbase. The outfits certainly weren't designed for fighting efficiency or to protect the wearer. I think this is a step in the right direction. No longer will our prurient pals, ladies of lubricity, or as you have so crassly termed them, "sluts", be limited to wearing elf/Link knockoff costumes. Now they can potentially go as Sailor Moon, which is innovation that certainly an anime fan can appreciate |
