I though that Urasawa was pretty popular in Japan. Seeing as how this is one final volume for 20th Century Boy I am not surprised that it's selling well. I just wish that Viz could release the manga over here, but I guess you got to honor the Urasawa wishes. |

Is it the final volume? I've never read any indication anywhere online that it's ended. Nice to see it on top, though. I guess quality does prevail on rare occasions.

It's wonderful that Urasawa is so popular over there! 20th Century Boys definitely deserves all the attention it can get... It's the best manga I've ever read.

To the encyclopedia editors,
When will 21st Century Boys be added to the encyclopedia? |

Just check here. 21st century boy is basically a spin on the manga 20th century boy. Because of certain story elements the name is changed, but 21st century boy part one in the final books for 20th century boy. I mean if the two season of Ghost in the Shell don't have separate entries I don't think we need for one this. |

As the article notes, this particular volume is part one of the final story arc. It's not the final volume, but it's the beginning of the end. |

Oh, I thought 20th Century Boys had finished. This is good; I didn't think that after the second-to-last volume of 20th that the story could be wrapped up well enough.
...At the same time-- AAAAAAAAAAGH URASAWA WHY MUST YOU TORMENT ME SOOOOOOOOOO?! must.... buy... more... manga... |

I love the torment, honestly I can't get enough. Hell I love the work he's currently doing on Pluto which is one of the greatest twist on a classical (Astro Boy) series I really can't wait to see what Urasawa has planned next. |

Neither did I. To my surprise, volume 22 did wrap things up well enough. 21st Century Boys is mostly dealing with loose ends and lingering mysteries, and the tension is ratched down several notches. |
