Omg.....NANOHA!!!! Anime hyper

Prepare yourself for the most awesome, badass and possibly GAR magical girl you'll EVER see! Definitely getting the DVDs since there were massive improvements made from the broadcast versions (think MoonPhase).

Now I hope to GOD they don't skimp on the dub (a.k.a. NO ODEX).

I'm not particularly interested in the other two, but Geneon's acquisition of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's is the best news I've heard in a while. Finally, America will get to experience the joy that is Super Robots in 9-year-old female form.

I checked out Deltora Quest (No relation to my user name) and it was alright I probably need to give it a few more episodes before I decided its fate. I am certainly interested in checking out Shana considering it has some good scores (Encyclopedia scores that is) for it.

Unless they offer something significant wiht Nanoha I won't bother buying them, since the DVD is not a VHS with digital output.

both seasons of Nanoha? So, StrikerS (despite being as long as both the original and As combined) doesn't count? :P

I'm definitely quite looking forward to Nanoha too, and also hope they do a good job with the dub.

Just hope it sells well enough for Geneon to consider licensing more (StrikerS) when it comes time.

I'd do the same, however the disappointing offer Geneon made with Fate/Stay Night made me extremely skeptical it could be a worthwile edition.

Geneon will probably see if Nanoha and Nanoha A's will do well first before diving into StrikerS. So let's support the first 2 seasons first.

interesting, my thoughts exactly, no StrikerS. guess they want to let the season end before pissing off a bunch of rabid fanboys. i see no reason for them getting both but seasons but then again maybe because the story was still in the same time line.

I was citing an inaccuracy in the article (using "both" as if Nanoha and As were everything). Obviously, a new license can be risk enough, let alone a magical girl show aimed at teenage males, so Geneon's not gonna rush ahead and license something that's about as expensive as Nanoha and A's combined (considering its length).
