I was looking around and i couldent find out if the places selling them were censored or not (they were never marked), i assume the ones here* are or not

And if they are censored if i could be pointed in the right direction of ones they aren't (and i would need them in english, if that is not readily apparent)

Also i was unable to find any volumes above 17 in english, are they not yet translated yet or some thing? or is there another reason (hard to find, limited quantitys, ect)?

First, welcome to the ANN forums. Could you be a bit more clear on what your looking for? Are you asking how censored the delrey negima volumes are compared to the Japanese volumes? If your looking for your uncensored English volumes as downloads go here

Del Rey doesn't censor Negima so you don't have to worry about that.

Volume 14 just came out in English and new volumes come out every three months. So volume 17 won't be out for another 9 months. But its not like they can go any faster since they are only one year behind the Japanese release and would catch up in no time if they went bimonthly (and Del Rey doesn't do anything that quickly anyway).

What about the UK publication? Apparently in the US the volumes are shrinkwrapped and unedited. No shrinkwrap here across the pond- while Battle Royale does have it. And flicking through, some do seem a bit...un risque.

Wikipedia wrote:
Negima! was involved in a controversy surrounding the censorship of the English-translated manga in North America, typical of Akamatsu's penchant for fanservice and risqué humor. Fans fell upon initial rumors of potential edits by Del Rey, and upon receiving news of this, immediately began fighting against the changes. The compromise reached was to release the book uncensored but shrink-wrapped, which some collectors feel can cause damage to the books.

that is what i was refering to, and thanks for the info, and as far as the shrink wrap, i dont have a prob with it, it is only gonna be on it as long as it is still in the box, as soon as it gets here it is comming off =P

also as far as getting a pirated version of the manga that would be counter productive for me any how, cus the point of getting the manga so i can enjoy it even if i'm not at my computer, any how i did read the rules, just a little Laughing that it happened to point at that any how

i was mainly inquiring, about the censorship on the voumes, just dident want the censored ones

thanks for the help and the release info
