I recently finished Death Note and I'm awaiting the next Volume of Monster, so in the mean time I've been looking for something else to start reading. Yesturday I found Mushishi and bought it. I was wondering what other's think of the manga series? I've only read the first story in this volume and I'm just abit confused as to what's actually going on. (Could be that I'm confused because I read it at 1am in the morning x_x) Anyway, Just feels like alot has happened already in the first story and I don't really know much about the main character. I'm just wondering if I should keep picking up the title. It seems to have a really high rating in the encyclopedia poll and has won the Kodansha Manga of the Year award.

Anyway, thoughts about the manga?

Here is an older thread discussing the manga. I'll also be making a very in depth thread about the anime once I get my starter set some time next week, so look forward to that as well if you're still interested.

Great, thanks for link! OH yeah, I also heard that there was a anime. I can't wait for your thread. I'm interested in check out the show as well.
