IRC?

so, we've got an IRC channel that we've promoted... like, once, in the last 2 years...

#animenewsnetwork on irc.dal.net

and, like, it's a great way to get in touch with myself or Tempest during the evening...

... but there's really no one there. and, of course, it doesn't help that the java irc client is offline for a bit.

So, I supose I'm asking: Is anyone interested in the IRC channel? I know a few guys who show up from time to time... but 5 people does not a community make.

(Hint -- feel free to idle there. in the meantime. 10 people idled out is more homely than 5.)

Is there a better network than DalNet? I like EFNet personally.... any suggestions?

I'm in there right now, I'm surprised that there are only 4 people (including me) for this site, yet my site has 26.....

I posted my suggestion to you, ANC. Yeah, sure I'll idle there.
