Per Japanese Wikipedia, Akiyuki SHINBO (#1610) has the following pseudonyms:
1). 南澤 十八 = Jyuhachi MINAMIZAWA 2). 椎谷 太志 = Futoshi SHIIYA 3). 帆村壮二 = ? (Soji Homura; ENAMDICT doesn't have a family name for "帆村", but "壮二" = "Sōji"; ANN: [Sōji], ANN: [Souji]) I can't vouch for the romanizations, but Google seems to back up the pseudonyms: 1). ["南澤 十八" "新房昭之"] 2). ["帆村壮二" "新房昭之" -wiki] 3). ["椎谷太志" "新房昭之" -wiki] That's as far as I think I can go right now—does anyone else have something to add? I've only ever seen 村 use the kun reading "mura" in names. Looks like 帆 could use kun or on, so either Hanmura or Homura - the latter "sounds" best to me and also returns many more results in Google.

I'm guessing it's referring to the Hidamari Sketch credit. I think the in-between check credits from the late 90's may possibly be someone else, even though they're the exact same kanji. Japanese Wikipedia shows that Shinbo was mainly a key animator in the 80's and a unit director in the 90's. I'm not sure what this task entails, but if it's a step down, wouldn't that be unusual? |

Also, he directed Nurse Me! and Swallowtail Inn? I guess that explains why Tetsuya Takeuchi decided to worked on those (under a pen name of course: T☆ETUYA). I was curious about that. |

That's what prompted me to start this thread—a poster on Mania.com/Anime on DVD stated that he had (in the "How good is Moonlight Lady? And other hentai recomendations?" thread), so I went looking. |

Doesn't seem to be mentioned yet here, so Soji Homura does appear to have an existing entry. Just recently added the Hidamari Sketch special credit, and since the kanji wasn't added yet, I added that too. |
