Hmmm... this worries me... the reason I like anime is because it's based on japanese sensibilities, culture, and lifestyle... something other than what I deal with in everyday life... if they start making anime that tries to have an american "feel" to it, the magic will be lost for me...

I don't see how this can be good... right now, though some people I know say the lip flaps are annoying, since they are used to american animation where the mouth movements match the words, this makes it easier to dub into english (though I don't watch dubs), simply because they don't have to worry about the mouth not matching the word being spoken in english, unlike dubbing kung-fu movies into engish (see Crouching Tiger~ or Hero)... what other changes to anime they could be talking about only makes me wonder, and not in a good way... if it's only animation type, like what is listed, that could be interesting... but otherwise, this statement simply frightens me...
