The fact Switch will always be within spitting distance of a 25 year old console is still going to be a blow no matter how many more PS2 sales Sony discovers.

I just like the odd swinging at Sony as if the PlayStation 2 didn’t mop the floor with the GameCube by a substantial margin despite the GameCube supposedly being the more powerful system of the two.

Hang on, if I divide that by the number of consoles sold, does that mean that each Switch user buys only 8.7 software titles on average?
I suppose some of that hardware has gotta be replacement units. Still seems low, but if the stereotype of Nintendo users includes families that buy Mario Kart, Smash, the latest Mario 3D game and nothing else, then maybe?
Between me and my kid, I think we’ve bought well over 100 titles by this point.
