I'm still not sure where Brian Cox is coming from about Helm being an "elected king". Elected in what sense? Helm's father was King of Rohan before him, as was his father before him, going all the way back nine generations to Eorl the Young.

It almost sounds like someone told Cox this thing about "elected kings" to somehow placate him in regards to the role.

This must have been quite the honour, it's very rare that ANN gets to interview someone as prestiges as Brian Cox.

I already watched it. I almost fell asleep, it's not the worst movie I have seen this year thanks to Joker 2.

The performances of the actors were fine but you can really tell that they were just expanding a paragraph and a half of Tolkien's lore. The motivations for the conflict are fine at first, but the longer it goes on the more petty it becomes. The only sane characters get sidelined or spoiler[killed as fast as possible, like the musician brother and Wulf's adjutant].
Everyone else is EXTREMELY dumb and impulsive, also the movie is extremely long for how little story it actually tells.

Looking forward to the film. Not as a LOTR fan or anything, just a toon fan.

Too bad its gonna bomb.

Brian Cox is machine. Dude has been working nonstop in the industry taking roles, big or small, movies, TV, stage, video games...probably audio books, sure why not?, for 60 freakin' years.
