And in the U.S. we have the original series airing on Toonami Rewind every Friday.

I would've gone with the 90's anime instead of Crystal...but hey, more Sailor Moon is never a bad thing in my book!

I hope this means Crystal will eventually air on US TV. Honestly it should have been on TV from the start instead of locked on Hulu. The biggest irony of this is WildBrain used to be DiC who dubbed the original anime in the 90s.

Crystal is not locked on Hulu. It’s also on Crunchyroll and Netflix in the US. Only Netflix has the Eternal and Cosmos films.

I would’ve chosen an image from Sailor Moon Crystal instead of from the 90’s anime.

I wonder if Family Channel will ever air the Eternal and Cosmos movies.

Or they'll just loop the three seasons.

Speaking of. Let's hope that the original anime's second season will come on Toonami Rewind in December.

That's only been since Eternal came out. For the majority of the release the dub was a Hulu exclusive which kept it from being streamed in Canada for years. Also Netflix only has the version with the uncorrected mistakes. Hulu streams the updated BD masters.

Very interesting development, as the last time Family Channel was showing anime it was just basically exporting Jetix (they showed Digimon and Oban Star-Racers).

They're seemingly also airing it uncut, with a "14+" warning showing over the show's logo when you look on the site schedule.

Now I'm wondering if Family Channel will air the web version of Crystal with the animation errors as that's the version streaming on Netflix or if they'll air the BD masters with the updated animation.

If I remember correctly, Tubi used to air the SMC dub before it was removed.

I wanna say the fixed version, mainly because it seems they're using the English logo. But I've only seen promos, so I can't say for certain.

Edit: Can't judge the actual animation, but the OP keeps the Japanese text (yet the ending uses English text).

That was also only recent. You can find all the information about how SMC was released ten years ago on Google and the ANN news archives.
