I feel like "Here comes Miyama to ruin everyone's day." should be the sub title for this series. Things seem to be going OK? Here come Miyama. A situation that needs diplomacy? Here comes Miyama. Simple school hijinks? Here comes Miyama.

So far I think they're doing a great job adapting the manga. The character designs are on-point, as is the voice acting, and Kirishima is the kind of crazy you can't turn away from while Yoshino is clearly someone you don't want to underestimate and a really compelling female lead.

I'm not sure Yoshino is as sheltered from the family business as you might think. No, she's not directly involved in any of it and trying to live a more or less normal life, but she does knows what kind of people yakuza are, and she's fully aware that she's a yakuza princess.

After watching the 3rd episode (and that was a helluva way to open it Shocked), I think I'm going to need a relationship chart with names and photos to sort out all the groups and family/friend relationships. But there's never a dull moment with this, aside from the character introductions which fly by too fast to process. This is going to be some ride...

The random muff diving opening had me thinking Crunchyroll somehow fucked up and had the wrong anime playing lmao. I was so shocked I had to rewind and watch from the beginning again because I missed dialogue. I wonder if any similar series show a guy brazenly getting head? I can think of a few BL but that’s it.

I quite like Yoshino. She’s smart and tough and has absolutely gorgeous hair. Kirishima and Shoma are both hot with their tattoos. I wonder how this love triangle will play out.

I think that's the first time I've seen you-know-what in a "mainstream" anime. I mean, I read the manga, but I wasn't sure if they would actually keep it in the anime (though I'm trying to remember if the girl was less clothed in the manga).

You have to applaud Kirishima for his honesty, however crazy it makes him sound...talking about the woman he's in love with during a lovemaking session with another girl, slipping into a girls' apartment and watching her sleep because it's the only time he thinks she won't look mad at him, and freely admitting he'd cheat on her if it meant she'd kill him to prove she loves him. He's absolutely bad news, and as sensible as Yoshino is, a part of her just can't help but be interested.

The closest thing Yoshino has to a real father wants to meet Kirishima. I'm sure that will go well.

So...there's definitely more to Yoshinos' dads' death the way Kirishima reacted.

Koji Yusa as Shoma is so weird. Like, I love the guy, but he sounds really out-of-place as someone who is meant to be close to Yoshino's age and a possible love interest. He sounds even less young than he does as Shima in Blue Exorcist. Though funnily enough he and Akira Ishida are actually the same age, though Ishida does a better job sounding younger here.

Redo of Healer has some "muff diving" scenes.

I think the only anime cunilingus I've seen was a in 91 Days (Also about the mafia!) but you only saw the lady's face in that not the guy so I don't think it count's as on-screen.

Although I did find it funny how Kirishima started going on about his crush to the girl he was currently banging, I really don't like this trope were the male lead fools around even though he doesn't care about the women he sleeps with because of course he only cares for the female lead. Why are you having sex then??? What's the point!?? He doesn't seem to be having fun until he gets to gush about Yoshino!

I liked the uh, breaking in and watching her sleep scene. You think he's gonna do something sexual and instead he just starts braiding her hair like a bored child, I found that funny.
And I liked that Yoshino just full on tried to stab him, good.

I've noticed Yoshino drops her dialect when speaking keigo and I wonder why? Can you not speak politelty in Osakaben? Is it just considered less polite? Does Japan have the same issue we do here in Sweden were people lose their dialects?

Shoma might be the Yakuza equivalent of the childhood friend who can never win against the homewrecker, but at least Yoshino still cares about him a lot and will not stand for Kirishima insulting him. Even if that means family-zoning him.

Ah, I see Kirishima has never really been jealous before so he has no frame of reference for how to handle the idea of a girl he's in love with hooking up with another guy. He thinks he'll get off on NTR but deep down he just wants to kill her partner.

Angry Yoshino is most attractive Yoshino (and with how attractive she is normally that's saying something).

Well, there it is! Yoshino wants Kirishima to fall for her so she can ditch him and go back to Osaka, Kirishima will try to make her fall for him so she stays in Tokyo. And Kirishima will have to achieve this by being his nutjob self, because Yoshino has too much pride to accept him otherwise. Though as much of a psycho stalker as Kirishima is, and under orders from her grandfather, he seems genuinely devoted to her.

Me and my cousin have had our spats but at least we've never stolen 1.5 l of the others blood. That's alot of blood! What's she's going to do with all that blood? Why is Kirishima offering to buy it? What's he going to do with all that blood?
Google tells me blood can be stored for around 35 days, how long has it been since the not-surgery?
Kyotoben Ueda Reina! Delicious!
I like Tsubaki as a character even if her eyes weird me out. Why are they like ) - ( ?

Also I'm not usually saying this but why are they teenagers? They don't look or dress like teens and they're barely in school, I don't see why they're just not like college students or something. Maybe I'm just old but Yoshino's outfit did not look like how a teen dresses. And that's saying nothing about the opening and ending outfits.
Also I just don't buy it when a show is supposed to have sexy characters who bang and they're teens. They probably bang but I doubt they're good at it.

Tsubaki is also promiscuous, with three current boyfriends

The differences between the subs and actual dialouge here confused me so I might be wrong, but I think she has 3 boyfriends and an additional 3 that she's got on keep.

My understanding was that she has 3 guys on the side, which doesn't include her main boyfriend? It wasn't very clear. I went and took a look at the scene in the manga, and it's not very clear there either.

Either way, good for her.

Kirishima might be an obsessive and psychotic stalkers with enemies out the whazoo...but he's caring, and Yoshino is the type of girl who will say she'll kill your enemies for you, so that's how you know she's a keeper!

I never expected Reina Ueda as a Yakuza Princess but she was great as Tsubaki. And who wouldn't love a beautiful and serene cousin who wants to be rod sisters with you? And can hold her own against Kirishima both verbally and influence-wise.

Yoshino may not have lost her kidney but the resolve she had to lose said kidney still counts...and it shows just how dedicated Tsubaki is towards her.

I think you can write off the outfits to a degree because they're Yakuza Princess' though very little of the plot would probably change if they were adults...besides maybe going to high school basically forces Yoshino and Kirishima to be together to some degree.

It might get lost since Yoshino seems to be pretty down to earth, but the reality is she (and Tsubaki) are spoiled rich girls.

I mean, losing 1.5L of blood stands a good chance of being lethal, especially for a slender Japanese woman. Whether she knows it or not, Yoshino still risked her life. Tsubaki even says as much.
