NEWS: Live-Action Voltron Film Casts Sterling K. Brown, Rita Ora, John Kim

i mean it seems to make sense, especially if they want to differentiate themselves from Legendary Defender and be more faithful to the original show (Pidge being a dude and Allura being White)

Ok, i think i know where this is going:

Henry Cavill as Sven
Daniel Quinn-Toye as Pidge
John Kim as Keith
Rita Ora as Allura
Sterling K. Brown as Hunk

The director said they weren’t going to use any of the original characters, calling it “a new generation of pilots.”

So we have a legitimate Emmy winner here with Brown, next to Rita Ora. Talk about contrast.

I would like a plot summary sooner rather than later.
