Really looking forward to this, even though the OG animated Kenshin Kyoto arc was already perfect in my eyes. And of course, after this one we'll finally get the highly anticipated Jinchuu!

I didn't expect that the opening would be performed by Kitani, but that's pretty cool. I think the Kyoto arc was practically perfect in the '96 series, so let's see how they'll do it here.

Looking forward to this season, but it's hard not to notice after the very first opening from Ayase that I see they're Oshi no Ko-ing again lol

I was kind of curious to see if this season might end up featuring a kind of recreation of the "FUTAE NO KIWAMI AAAAAHH!" moment that became such a big meme in Japan, but considering the subs in Aniplex's trailer directly translate the technique name to "Mastery of Two Layers", it seems Rika Takahashi may be cutting it off on the TL level this time. (I do recall seeing her sorta take responsibility for the meme existing, lol.
 )
Well, regardless, production on this is looking good. |

Looks like they're rightfully ratcheting up the intensity and action now that we're finally in the Kyoto arc!
Nobuhiko Okamoto and Wataru Hatano aren't surprising but Haruka Tomatsu as Yumi!? Wow. |
